If (a couple of) people known me in America is mainly because I always was a fierce opponent of the Super-Hero genre. I view it as simplistic, manichaean, neofascist, misogynous, escapist, etc... Nothing good, of course, not to mention a strong proponent of American excepcionalism. Even so, I remember reading, and enjoying Peter David's column "But I Digress" in The Comics Buyer's Guide. Peter David definitely does not belong on this blog, but I'm getting old and decided to honor his memory just the same.
